Home Remedy for Rheumatism

Derived from a Greek word 'rhuema', which means swelling, rheumatism is essentially a condition in which a person experiences severe pain in bone, muscles and joints, along with swelling.

Derived from a Greek word 'rhuema', which means swelling, rheumatism is essentially a condition in which a person experiences severe pain in bone, muscles and joints, along with swelling. It mostly affects people above 45 years of age and is found in both men and women. There are basically two types of rheumatism - muscular rheumatism, which affects the muscles, and articular rheumatism, which affects the joints. Some of the causes of rheumatism are poisoning of blood with acid wastes, physically stressful work, damp weather conditions and acid-alkaline imbalance. Heredity factors, hormonal disorder and infection in teeth are some of the other causes of rheumatism. However, rheumatism can be cured with some natural remedies. In the following lines, we have provided the best home remedies to treat rheumatism.

Home Remedy For Rheumatism

An effective way to treat rheumatism would be to have one or two tsp of raw potato juice before meals.

Mix 1 tablespoon of cod liver oil in a glass of orange juice. Whip and drink this juice before going to bed.

In a glass of warm water, dissolve 2 tsp each of apple cider vinegar and honey. Have this concoction once or twice a day.

Mix carrot juice and lemon juice in equal proportions. Have a large spoonful of this concoction, everyday, to cure rheumatism.

In two tbsp of water, add one tbsp fresh limejuice. Have this twice a day -in the morning and at night.

In a pint of warm water, mix juice of three lemons and three tablespoons Epsom salts. Take one tsp of the mixture in the morning and one in the evening.

Mix oil of wintergreen, chloroform and rubbing alcohol in the ratio of 1:3:12. Once the mixture is prepared, rub it on the affected area.

In a quarter of cranberry juice, dissolve 4 tsp blackstrap molasses. Drink one glass of this juice everyday, for curing rheumatism.

Peel some potatoes. Wash 30 grams of this peeling in half a liter of water. Strain the decoction and have it three or four times daily. This is an effective way to treat rheumatism.

The green stalk of rhubarb is effective in curing rheumatism. Crush this with equal amounts of sugar. Have a tsp of this mixture three or four times everyday.

Include foods rich in calcium, magnesium and vitamin C in the diet. This would help in treating rheumatism.

Extract a cup of bitter gourd juice. Mix it with a tsp of honey. Daily dose of this, for three months, would be helpful in treating rheumatism.

Celery is beneficial in curing rheumatism. You can either use it as a condiment or a fluid extract. 5 to 10 drops of this fluid should be mixed with a glass of hot water. Have this decoction before meals.

Consuming half a dozen walnuts everyday is beneficial in treating rheumatism. However, make sure you chew them properly.

In a bucket of warm water, add some rosemary oil. Dip the affected area in this water. This would provide relief from the pain and treat the inflammation as well.

Diagnosing Rheumatic Disease

The diagnosis of rheumatic disease will be based on your symptoms, a thorough physical examination and medical history. Your doctor will most likely order X-rays and blood tests to determine which form of rheumatic disease you have. You may also be referred to a rheumatologist for further examination.
What Causes Rheumatic Disease?

Different rheumatic disorders may have different causes. There are certain factors that may contribute to the development of rheumatic disorders and include:
Presence of toxic products in the blood as a result if improper metabolism, digestion or excretion
Hereditary
Infections from teeth, tonsils and gall bladder
Hormonal imbalance
Exposure to cold or damp weather
Help for Rheumatic Disease

There are several treatment options that can provide symptomatic relief of the various types rheumatic conditions. Medications such as analgesics, NSAIDS (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) or anti-inflammatory drugs reduce pain, stiffness and inflammation.
Alternative treatments such as physical therapy, mobilization, tens, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and massage can also benefit people suffering from rheumatic disorders. In addition, a well balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight and regular exercise can minimize rheumatic symptoms.
More and more people are finding comfort and pain relief for their rheumatic conditions from natural and alternative treatments. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies are safe and gentle for the body without the harsh side effects of conventional medicine.
A powerful herb known as Harpagophytum procumbens (Devil’s Claw) contains strong anti-inflammatory properties and is used for the treatment of joint conditions such as osteoarthritis, fibrositis, small joint disease and lower backache. Other useful herbs such as Glucosamine sulphate and Boswellia serata decrease pain and inflammation, and also build and repair cartilage and connective tissue.

How to Use Dandelion to Treat Rheumatism

Rheumatism is a general term most often used to describe arthritis, though it can be applied to many different conditions. Most people think of joint pain and stiffness when they think of rheumatism. That joint pain can be reduced with dandelion, a plant featuring many medicinal properties. There are many preparations of dandelion, but creating a dandelion essential oil is a common way to treat rheumatism.

Instructions

1.Gather a good amount dandelion flowers from your yard or from a public field. Try to pick healthy-looking dandelion flowers that still have all of their petals and have not browned.

2.Fill a mason jar almost halfway with the dandelion flowers. Take the jar when you pick the dandelions so you know you will have enough.

3.Pour oil over the dandelion flowers. You can use olive, canola, almond or grapeseed oil. Fill the jar almost to the top.

4.Top off the oil with a shot of vodka to help safeguard the mixture from mildew.

5.Secure a piece of cheesecloth over the top of the jar with a rubber band.

6.Store the jar in a warm, sunny place for about 4 weeks. By that time, the oil should be infused with the dandelions and the petals of the flowers should have turned brown.

7.Strain dandelion material out of the oil and transfer the oil to a new jar.

8.Massage dandelion oil mixed with mineral oil or another massage oil into achy joints as needed.

9.Store the dandelion oil in a dark place or in the refrigerator to prolong its freshness. If you put it in the refrigerator, it should last indefinitely.

How to Use Lavender to Treat Rheumatism

Rheumatism is an umbrella of medical issues that can affect the skin, lungs, heart, bones and joints. We commonly use the term rheumatism when we mean rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic type of joint pain. Rheumatism encompasses much more, including other forms of arthritis, tendonitis and fibromyalgia. Though conventional medications can be used to treat these symptoms, lavender and other herbal remedies may help as well.

Instructions

1.Pour 1 oz. of a carrier oil into a small bowl. A carrier oil, such as peanut, almond or orange, helps get the essential oils to the body without causing skin irritation.

2.Add 1 ml of lavender essential oil to the carrier oil. You can put some cedarwood oil in the mixture as well. Stir well to combine all the oils.

3.Dip a large cotton ball into the essential oil mixture. Gently squeeze out the excess oil so you will not drip on yourself.

4.Rub a generous dab of massage oil on the area that is bothering you.
Apply a Lavender Compress to Alleviate Pain From Rheumatism

1.Brew a tea made from 1 tsp. dried lavender flowers and 1 cup of boiling water.

2.Pour the hot tea into a small bowl. Let it cool for a few minutes to avoid burning yourself.

3.Immerse a washcloth into the bowl of lavender tea. Wring out so it will not drip, and fold into a rectangle.

4.Put the warm compress on aching joints or muscles.
Ease Symptoms of Rheumatism With a Lavender Bath

1.Add up to 1/2 cup of dried lavender flowers to a warm bath.

2.Allow the flowers to soften in the bath water. They will start to release their delicate scent.

3.Get into the bath and relax. The lavender will cause you to relax and you may feel less joint pain.

How to Use St. John's Wort to Treat Rheumatic Pain

Rheumatism is a general medical term used to describe a variety of different disorders that cause pain and weakness. When people speak of rheumatic pain, they usually refer to arthritis symptoms. Though the term isn't used in the medical community anymore, it can still refer to conditions like tendonitis, fibromyalgia and repetitive-motion injury. Because of its anti-inflammatory and antidepressant properties, St. John's Wort is often used as a natural remedy to treat rheumatic pain.

Instructions

1.Seek a specific diagnosis for the cause of your rheumatic pain. Since the term can refer to so many conditions and types of pain, it's important to know exactly what is causing your pain.

2.Treat any significant underlying medical conditions that might be causing the pain before turning to St. John's Wort as a source of relief. Rheumatic pain can be a symptom of serious immune-system illnesses, such as lupus, which should be treated with the help of your doctor.

3.Discuss your plan with your doctor and ask for a referral to a holistic practitioner if she is uncomfortable with your choice to use homeopathic remedies. Do, however, talk to your doctor about any possible interactions of St. John's Wort with your regular medications.

4.Use St. John's Wort both internally and externally to treat your pain. In addition to working as an anti-inflammatory agent, St. John' Wort is frequently used as an antidepressant and anti-anxiety agent. The sedating effect of the herb may reduce any emotional distress caused by your rheumatism.

5.Purchase St. John's Wort in capsule form at your local health-food store, pharmacy or grocery store. Because of its increasing popularity as an antidepressant, capsules of the herb are sold in many convenient locations.

6.Use a preparation that contains at least 3 percent of the active ingredient, hypericin, in each 300-mg. capsule. An adult dose of the herb is 1 capsule taken 3 times a day.

7.Apply an oil extract of St. John's Wort to joints that are causing you pain. The oil is easier to find in health-food stores than in pharmacies. The topical application can provide some temporary relief by dilating the capillaries and increasing blood flow to the area.

How to Treat Inflammatory Rheumatism with Stinging Nettle

Stinging nettle is one of nature's finest remedies for inflammatory rheumatism. It has been approved by Germany's Commission E for treating rheumatism, kidney and bladder stones, and urinary tract infections. Aside from these qualities, stinging nettle has been used for centuries for treating all types of inflammatory conditions including arthritis, gout and rheumatism. It may be used successfully both internally and externally for joint pain, but only take one form of internal stinging nettle preparation. Take the tea, extract or tincture, but don't take them all in conjunction.

Instructions:

1.Make stinging nettle tea by steeping 1 tbsp. dried nettle leaves in 1 cup of boiling water, steeping for 10 to 15 minutes, and then straining the spent herbs from the tea using a tea strainer. Sweeten the mixture with honey, if desired, and drink 3 to 4 cups per day to soothe the symptoms of inflammatory rheumatism.

2.Combine 250 milligrams standardized nettle extract with a glass of water. Drink three times per day to ease inflammatory rheumatism symptoms. The extract may be taken without mixing in water, but some people find the taste a bit too overpowering. Try it and see how you prefer to ingest the substance.

3.Make a stinging nettle compress and apply externally to ease inflammatory rheumatism pain. Brew one cup of nettle tea according to the instructions above. Soak a clean, cotton cloth in the hot tea and then apply directly to the painful areas. Remove after the cloth cools and repeat as necessary.

4.Mix 10 to 30 drops of stinging nettle tincture with a glass of water and drink up to four times per day to treat inflammatory rheumatism. Again, you may consume the tincture alone but the taste is very strong, even more so than the nettle extract. Add a bit of lemon or honey to the mixture to counter the taste, if necessary.

How to Treat Rheumatism Using Natural Remedies

Rheumatism is the term referring to the general aches and pains in muscles and joints, which may be accompanied by stiffness. Most people will suffer from rheumatism by the time they are in their seventies. Read this article to find out how you can treat and prevent rheumatism.
1.CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE:

Often resting for a few days, followed by a gentle stretching exercises, is all that is required. A warm hot-water bottle or an ice package can also help. Some people find that a firm supportive bandage provides enormous relief. Take pain-relievers as required. Your physician may want to arrange for further investigation if the symptoms persist.
2.NUTRITION:

Eat plenty of oily fish and all the powerful antioxidant foods, which are rich in vitamin A, C, and E and in the minerals zinc and selenium.

Avoid foods that will aggravate your inflammation, like red meat. Also avoid foods that are likely to increase your levels of uric acid, such as offal, yeast, yeast and meat extracts, roe, taramasalata, and even caviar. Avoid all red and fortified wines and be modest in your consumption of other forms of alcohol.

Don't drink more than one or two cups of coffee a day.
 3.HERBAL REMEDIES:

Anti-inflammatory rubs (such as five drops of chamomile essence in one teaspoon of infused St. John's wort oil) can be helpful for conditions like tennis elbow or frozen shoulder. Rheumatism may respond to cleansing teas, which remove accumulated toxins in the tissues.

Try an infusion of bogbean, meadowsweet, and yarrow leaves which you have flavored with a little lemon juice. Warm compresses can also help - soak a cloth in a cramp bark and angelica decoction, reheating the mix and re-soaking as necessary.
4.AROMATHERAPY:

The following oils can help ease the pain of rheumatism:

Lavender
Roman chamomile
Juniper
Marjoram
Ginger
Benzoic
Rosemary

Use the oils in the bath or in a compress over the affected area. Benzoin is not too effective in the bath, as it sits on the bottom in little blobs. You can also use these oils in a massage medium, but never massage over swollen or inflamed joints - instead, massage over the affected area between flare-ups.
 5.PREVENTING RHEUMATISM:

If your normal diet is deficient in the vitamins A, C, and E, and the minerals zinc and selenium, there is a greater chance that you may develop some form of rheumatism. Following the nutritional guidelines for arthritis and taking a daily supplement of these essential nutrients will give you added protection against rheumatism and many other disease as well.

Rheumatism Cause

The Rheumatism Cause
There is no such a thing as a single cause of any health problem. We can only talk about cofactors, causative agents and life situations that like pieces of puzzle interact with each other, and together promote a chain of events ending with a named set of symptoms and health problems & with Rheumatism.
All disorders and health problems that happen to humans are multidimensional, because we, humans are multidimensional.
Modern medical science is manly interested in physical and tangible world. It blames too many problems on bad genes, bad viruses, bad bacteria, ...
Genes are always a factor of our health, but that is the only factor we can't do anything about. Genes only represent our predisposition & potential to encounter certain problem or disease. It is our life and our lifestyle as whole that makes the final decision on whether we are going to experience certain problem or not. The truth is, no illness and no disorder or any health problem is caused by a single factor!
There are virtually hundreds of cofactors / hundreds of causative agents that each have casual relationship to poor immunity, poor health, accumulation of toxins inside body, poor thoughts, and that promotes illness!
Pregnancy: Many people were predisposed to certain illness before they were even born. Fetus can be affected by diet and lifestyle of parents, toxins that parents were exposed to, illness and organ damage that parents experienced, as well as the lack of essential nutrients needed for healthy development during pregnancy. Vaccinations, medications, drugs, narcotics, and other toxins that parents and grandparents were exposed to, before conception and during pregnancy can also seriously affect fetus and the health of a newborn child.
Birth Trauma: The process of labor can cause trauma, which can seriously affect baby both early in life and later in life. Child is twice as likely to suffer serious damage if labor lasts longer then 13hrs.
Birth Defects: If child is borne with a certain disorder or illness, then look for the causative agents and causes in parents. It can be: lifestyle, environment, vaccination, toxins, stress & unpleasant life experiences, poor diet ....
Childhood: In case of any health problems encountered during early childhood, most common causative agents and causative cofactors are: birth trauma, exposure to medications, vaccination, toxins, child was fed with artificial milk, intolerance or allergy to mother's milk, toxic environment, toxins present in air or food and water that mother is consuming.
Health problems encountered later in life: most common cofactors and causative agents affecting health of a modern man are: medications, birth trauma, vaccination, toxins, stress & unpleasant life experiences, poor mental health, poor attitude, poor lifestyle, poor diet, exposure to certain viruses, bacteria, yeast, parasitic animals.
That doesn't mean that every single person is exposed to the same causative agents. Different people can be diagnosed with the same illness, but still have the entirely different set of cofactors causing that same illness. Every person is different! Every individual lives different life!
Beware that we are only able to recognize the "largest" and most common pieces of this "puzzle" called "the cause of illness", while some "smaller pieces" are often unrecognizable.
Our body, our mind, our soul and our spirit are one with our environment. Anything that disturbs balance inside our body, mind, soul and spirit, or our relationship with the environment may promote an illness.
Common underlying causative agents of almost every illness of modern man are:
birth trauma: during difficult or prolonged birth, physical trauma may result in fine tearing of the tissues inside baby's abdomen. Birth trauma may also result in misalignments of the cranial bones, misalignment of the spinal bones and misalignment of the hip bones, causing pain and digestion problems during the first months of baby's life. Those problems may affect baby's health immediately or later, affecting digestion, elimination, immunity, endocrine system, concentration, learning ability.
In 98 out of 100 kids, symptoms of birth trauma are not recognized or diagnosed, leading to a common childhood illness and commonly treatment with antibiotics or other medications. Exposure to medications early in baby's life is sure factor that will contribute to almost every illness later in life. Many of the problems caused by birth trauma can be corrected by visiting experienced osteopath or experienced manual therapist specialized for treating babies.
exposure to toxins, vaccination, medications and lack of body contact. Exposure to toxins, medications or vaccination during the first few weeks or first few months of baby's life may contribute and may cause serious health problems in childhood and later in life.
One out of 100 non-vaccinated people may develop cancer later in life, while one out of 4 or 5 vaccinated will develop cancer later in life.
One out of 100 non-vaccinated people may develop arthritis later in life, while one out of 5 vaccinated will develop arthritis later in life.
One out of 15.000 non-vaccinated kids may develop autism, while one out of 150 vaccinated will develop autism. References

Those statistics show how much we are affected by the miracle of vaccination.

poor dietary choices and nutritional deficiency - diet rich in processed foods and deficient on essential nutrients is affecting biochemical processes inside our cells. It is also affecting digestion and preventing internal natural detoxification ... read Foods That Kill page!
mental attitude, stress, suppression, negative thoughts, fear, lack of love, lack joy, lack desire to live.
Lack of: physical activity, sweating, moving, sex, laugh...
Combination of those factors is the underlying cause of almost every illness, because those are the factors that are causing congestion of the ducts and vessels of circulation and elimination, such as the bile ducts of the liver, the digestive tract, the blood and lymph vessels, the urinary tract, the meridians (Chi ducts) and the hormonal pathways (endocrine system).
Congestion of the ducts and vessels of circulation and elimination includes:
Obstruction of the bile ducts inside liver by hundreds and thousands of intrahepatic stones -- the main cause of almost every chronic illness
Thickening of blood vessel walls (capillaries and arteries) with excessive protein, leading to chronic health problems such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes, brain disorders, arthritis, cancers, etc.
Waste accumulation in the gastro-intestinal tract, affecting the health of every cell in the body, and indicated in almost every disorder and emotional/spiritual problem
Lymphatic congestion, also indicated in every health problem, including weight gain, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer's, hormonal issues, reproductive disorders, etc.
Energetic blocks in the body's meridian network and chakra system, affecting all organs and system in the body

Whenever congestion & toxemia exceeds one's capacity to handle it, you will definitely have a disease.

What kind of illness you may develop depends on:
the type of vaccines, medications, trauma & toxins you were exposed to.
level of liver damage caused by the exposure to toxins & medications
the type of parasites, virus, yeast or bacteria that may live inside of you
your total diapason and intensity of the nutritional imbalance
your genetic material (inherited strength of your body - your constitution)
your blood type (A,B,AB,O)
your inherent capacity to handle different toxins
your inherent capacity to handle different lack of essential nutrients
your psychological and mental strength
others
your age & gender
your thoughts (your psychological and mental make up)
your environment and exposure to environmental stressors like radiation
lack of love and touch
professional injuries
eventual past and present injuries and infections
others

Congestion and toxemia may cause or may be followed by:
Formation of Intrahepatic Stones, Gallstones, poor liver function, poor bowel function
Poor digestion - Incomplete digestion may cause poor absorption of essential nutrients,
and poorly digested food may contain toxic substances that our intestines absorb into our blood, lymph and tissues.
Infection by internal parasitic animas - PARASITES (protozoa, amoebae, worms,..)
Infection by parasitic yeasts, viruses bacteria
Overuse of medical drugs
Others (every person has different set of cofactors)
By applying the most basic guidelines of cleansing the entire body, eating nutritiously and living in harmony with nature's laws, you can take complete charge of your health.
On this page, you have the opportunity to find out how!

About Body-Mind, Soul and Spirit.

"Many of our life problems (health, marriage, problems of materialistic nature, business, problems with children, diseases from dependence) have connections with a family in which we live, with a family in which we grew up as well as family from which our parents derived.
We receive from our ancestors not only the color of our hair or tendency toward epilepsy, or heart diseases, but also a variety of psychological stresses, traumas and pains among which many are on the level of secrecy. Since long ago people have experienced one feeling, which they transformed into saying "". when grandparents eat sour grapes the grandchildren's teeth turn numb
Person suffering chronic illness, often comes from a family where there are many "unfinished businesses" in the past.
Fore example: Family who's members have serious emotional problems, serious conflicts within members going on, or just a lot of feeling of guilt, fear and resentment. Sometimes, those conflicts and entangling are on unconscious level, and person is not aware of it. If those conflicts and problems are not addressed, health, if achieved, is just an illusion, short term experience.

MOST SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS comes from difficult relationship between people.

But, for most people, dealing with those problems is not easy. Being married with "wrong" person, being divorced, being unable to communicate with your kids is not easy. Takes long time to learn, to adjust, to forgive, to tolerate,...
Unfortunately, people who need changes the most, those who are seriously ill, are just too ill to realize it. Most sick people are just too sick to even try simple and easy things like water cure, liver cleanse, juicing, lemonade diet....
Family and Subconscious plays a big part in our health. When we are talking about subconscious, we are talking about past.
"Beside the color of our eyes or tendency toward epilepsy, from our ancestors we inherit various kinds of feelings, tragedies, traumas, tempers, tresses, misfortunes. We also inherit the terror and fear of living in poverty (nevertheless of our temporary status)."
"Families have numerous levels on which they exist and on which they function in the same way as each of us individually. There is a difference between the visible (so called manifesting) level of family's relationship and the level of hidden feelings, games and positions (so called latent level). The pathological balance frequently exists on exactly this hidden level, which, after long-term stagnation of energy, creates sickness or pathological process to that family or to their members."
"Today we are aware of the fact that any serious emotional trauma that happened in the past to you (or your parents) can have a significant affect on the continual state of your health.
People can also strongly suffer from emotional trauma inherited from parents who lived with hidden and unsolved rejection, with concentration camp or refugee drama or ancient separation during birth.
All this pervades the descendents and brings them in an emotional state, which they don't remember experiencing at all. We can frequently see how, in families, children reflect their parents, as if they are looking in the mirror. The characteristics that they have taken from their parents or some distant ancestor include the tendency toward depression, fear, self-criticism, lack of conscience, self-rejection, etc. It is therefore very clear that the emotional trauma is the main reason for bad health."
"Unfinished businesses within family can block and take away the energy. These can be various family secrets about family's conflicts, murders, war sufferings, rapes, religious intolerances, adultery, frauds, plunders, betrays, etc."
"By finishing the unfinished business a lot of life energy can being released."
"Secrets and lies within the family are very important, because the secrets, hidden thoughts and feelings are those that produce the unfinished business and knots. Very often almost whole family energy is spent to keep some secret on the safe place, so the members of the family hardly have strength for anything else in life." Soul is a part of us, which connects our body (material aspect of our existence) and our spirit (our connection with spiritual). Soul is a part of us that is connected to emotions and in this way it knows all truths from the beginning to the end. It is not like mind which analyses, interprets, judges, synthesizes and babbles, babbles, babbles, etc It's medium is not a word but a picture.
A lot of things that determine our lives, happiness and health belong to those latent levels and it processes beyond the level of our consciousness. Not only does there exist a large subconscious part of us connected to our individual lives from the beginning until present moment, but also there exist a large part in that subconscious that is filled with various important elements from the whole evolution, from prehistoric human until today. As in some unimaginably big computer, tidily in our subconscious we have sorted files that possess all the emotionally important information from the prehistoric days until today.

This is known as collective subconscious.

Beside individual and collective subconscious, in subconscious part of us there exist one more "sector" in which are placed files that possess something that is called familiar subconscious. This is something that we inherit from our ancestors through our genetics. These are furthermore those "programs" in our lives that are often, automatically and unconsciously happening and determining our destiny. Therefore we, beside the color of our eyes or tendency toward epilepsy, inherit various kinds of feelings, tragedies, traumas, tempers, stresses, also the pain of midwife whose children are dying while giving them birth, the misfortune of their mother to whom they forbid to marry the love of her life, we also inherit the terror and fear of living in poverty (nevertheless of our temporary status).
"That is why we often notice within family, for example, five generations of lawyers or seven generations of doctors or four generations of alcoholics, suicides, schizophrenics, divorces, etc."
"If the children are the ones whose problems are involved, then the adequate people should work for them in the therapy as their parents or very close relatives."
It is important to learn what is right and what is wrong, in relationship with people. It is important to regret doing things that are bad. It is important to forgive to those who regretted. It is important to forgive to yourself. It is important to learn from mistakes. It is important to love your parents, your ex partners, your present partners, your children.
It is important to do god to people. It is important to do god to the children. It is important to support your children. The best that parents can do for their own children is to love the other half. Lack of this love may cause imbalances that will be felt through generations.

Natural Remedies for Rheumatism

Rheumatism is an older term with no precise medical meaning, used to describe any of a number of painful conditions of muscles, tendons, joints, and bones. Muscular aches and pains can be very uncomfortable particularly in the elderly.

Firstly we recommend the Core Regime as the foundation - a proven nutritional program that improves health naturally. By addressing overall health in a holistic manner, many health conditions are alleviated and even resolved completely. Most Chronic (long term) health disorders have an autoimmune component - so we also recommend that you read the protocol outlined in the article Factors Involved In Auto-Immune Disorders And Effective, Natural Treatment Protocols. The remedies suggested are nutritionally balanced solutions that tend to raise overall health. (So it does not matter whether you have an auto-immune disorder or not). They contain enzymes and many other naturally occurring phyto-nutrients shown to help reverse and prevent disease generally by optimizing the immune and hormonal systems. The remedies recommended in the article overlap with those discussed in the core regime so you can select remedies to suit your individual requirements.

Old Folk-Home Remedies To Relieve Arthritis And Rheumatism

rthritis, one of the oldest disease known to mankind, is the inflammation of one or more joints. It occurs in all races at all times. Decline in joint function generally begins at age 30. No one really knows the exact cause of this painful and disabling disease. However, there are two theories:

1. Infection
2. Body's own defenses go out of line and attack its own tissues

Also experts believe that emotional stress plays a very important role in the cause of arthritis.

The most severe case of this crippling disease is RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS. Factors relating to it are fatigue, shock, injury, and exposure to cold and dampness. At times nodules may show up under the skin, around the elbows, wrists and fingers, and occasionally on the ankles. The control of this particular type of arthritis may require the cooperation of a physician, a physical therapist, an orthopedic surgeon, and often the physician who specializes in psychosomatic diseases. Rest is considered one of the most essential factors in treatment which includes emotional rest. Diet need not be too restrictive, but should be rich in animal proteins, calcium and iron adequate in vitamins.

At present, many arthritic patients have been taking aspirins as a temporary pain-reliever with good results in some cases. Some patients also are given physical treatments with heat and water (bathing and whirlpools), finger-tip massaging, and other methods which an expert physiotherapist may use.

Toxic waste products in the blood

The chief cause of rheumatism is the presence of toxic waste products in the blood. The liberal consumption of meat, white bread, sugar, and refined cereals leaves a large residue of toxic wastes in the system. When the vitality is low, the toxic wastes are concentrated around the joints and bony structure, where they form the basis of rheumatism
Infection of teeth, tonsils and gall-bladder

In certain cases, infection from the teeth, tonsils, and gall-bladder may produce rheumatism. The disease is aggravated by exposure to cold water

Rheumatism symptoms

Fever, pain, intense soreness and stiffness
The onset of the acute variety of rheumatism is characterized by fever, intense soreness, and pain. In the acute muscular type, the area becomes so sensitive that even the weight of bed clothing aggravates the pain. It may settle into a chronic state under a wrong mode of treatment. If the disease is not treated properly in the acute stage, it may become chronic. The symptoms of chronic muscular rheumatism are pain and stiffness of the affected muscles. In the case of chronic articular rheumatism (pain in the joints), pain and stiffness are felt in one or more joints of the body, with swelling in most cases
